I am very passionate about blogging, dancing and any kind of needle work. I love my job at an international NGO and I love my two kids.

As long as it is possible, I will try and help the public understand PD a bit more. That is why I co-founded the online platform The Book of Dopamine (Dopamin – das Buch), where people can share their experiences with PD.

I am a patient representative and Trustee of the foundation Hilde-Ullrichs-Stiftung für Parkinsonforschung. Together with four other PD associations we have started the advocacy campaign Last Exit Hospital (Letzte Ausfahrt Krankenhaus) on April 11, 2019.

I am a member of the coordinating team. We are asking for better care for patients with PD in hospitals.

I participated in the Neurological Verwackelt in Berlin and Parkinson Youngster.

What is the one thing you want to change in the world?

Find a cure

What advice would you give to others who are keen to get involved in Parkinson’s research?

Go out there and do it. We have nothing to lose and so much to gain!

Is there a piece of reading you would recommend to someone wanting to find out more about Parkinson’s research?

Actually it’s a big chunk, but I would recommend to visit the Michael J. Fox website and take it from there.
